Certified Nurse Midwife – 2 Hours From San Diego

• Hospital employed practice is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their team
• Hourly rate ($62.51 – $91.43/hour) is negotiable and dependent on experience 
• Schedule consists of 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week with direct outpatient clinic care and inpatient hospital coverage, including some weekend duty
• Outpatient clinic volume averages approximately 30 patients per day
• Scope of care includes comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, routine well-woman gynecological, and family planning services
• Responsibilities include health histories, clinical assessments, diagnostic orders, prescription management, and EMR documentation
• Collaborative environment working alongside supervising OB/GYN physicians, registered nurses, and support staff
• Active California RN and CNM licenses with furnishing authority and AMCB certification required
• BLS required; NRP and fetal monitoring certifications required for clinical and OB coverage
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are highly preferred
• Located in a community of over 25,000 residents within a regional valley population exceeding 180,000
• Located 2 hours East of San Diego, CA.  Local airport in the area with daily flights to LAX in Los Angeles, CA
• ​​Situated roughly 1.5 hours from a major international airport and approximately 2 hours from a major metropolitan airport hub
