Pennsylvania – Pediatrics

• Join 2 other Pediatricians
• Call rotates with the Family Practice physicians. When FP is on call, they cover peds.
• The pediatricians do not attend c-sections or provided nursery coverage
• The peds see 18 – 20 patients/day
• They are looking to replace two pediatricians who recently moved out of the area
• They follow MGMA guidelines for compensation
• Current contracts are 3 years.
• Benefits are offered include Full Medical, Dental, Vision, CME, PTO, CME $…..
• There are 20 days PTO and 5 days for CME
• EMR = Medent
• They are able to sponsor J-1 and H1-B visa holders

The Medical Center:

The medical center is a Joint Commission Accredited Hospital with 107 beds to support acute care.  They also have a full service home health division, a 95-bed skilled nursing facility, and a comprehensive 30 bed inpatient and outpatient behavioral health program, including one of the few dual diagnosis units in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York.   .

• 21,000 Emergency Department visits per year
• Nearly 3,200 Admissions per year
• 4,000 Outpatient Surgeries per year
• 220 Births per year
