Inpatient General Psychiatrist / Chief Medical Officer
 
New Mexico hospital, a 120-bed freestanding psychiatric hospital, invites skilled psychiatrists to join their team in the vibrant medium sized metro. Since 1987, they have been dedicated to providing diverse inpatient, residential, and partial hospital programs for adolescents, adults, and seniors. They specialize in mental health and drug and alcohol addiction services.

Details

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Lead treatment teams and provide daily care for adult patients.
• Full-time employed position with an option for leadership role for qualified candidates.
• Enjoy a flexible daily schedule with the ability to be offsite after patient-care activities.
• Hybrid onsite/telepsychiatry optional.
• Monday-Friday, day position with minimal call/weekends.
• Collaborate with residents, fellows, and medical students from Texas Tech El Paso.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
• BE/BC in Psychiatry.
• Leadership appointment requires 3+ years prior medical team leadership experience.
