Hospitalist – Central Minnesota
- BC/BE Internists and Family Practitioners welcome
- Primarily day shifts with 1:8 week rotation to night shift
- Flexibility to spit time with outpatient practice, if desired
- Schedule – 7 on 7 off, Tuesday-Monday cycle
- Full time – equivalent to 24 weeks/year
- Join 8 physicians and 2 NPs in practice
- Hospitalists will cover Med/Surg & ICU, including ventilator co-management with intensivist, RT, and remote support from Duluth
- Opportunity to teach and precept medical and PA students, and for future program leadership
- Average inpatient practice volume per day: 12-15 encounters per hospitalist. Average daily census on the team: 40-60
- Hospitalist team runs codes and rapid responses
- No procedures required (general surgery performs central lines)
