Outpatient Psychiatry – Northwestern Indiana

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Currently seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our established Behavioral Health Program. Interested candidate will join a busy, collegial outpatient practice including seven psychiatrists of which three are Adult Psychiatrists, four are Child/Adolescent Psychiatrists, and three Nurse Practitioners.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and work collaboratively with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• New office opening in 2021

• Well-established practice

• Schedule: Monday – Friday. 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

  • Two late evenings per week, 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

• Weekend Call: 1:8

• New inpatient rounding only

• No Evening Call

  • Tele-Psych covers night call during week and on weekends

• Average outpatient volume: 20 patients per day

• Telehealth is offered

• Common Duties:

  • Psychiatric evaluations

  • Medication management

  • Consultations

  • Family medical leave absence

• Common Diagnoses:

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Major Depression

  • Anxiety

  • ADHD

  • Addictions

  • Schizophrenia

  • Bariatric Evaluations

• Option to perform spinal stimulator evaluation, if interested
