Primary Care Medical Director – Northwestern Illinois

• Hospital employed practice is seeking a BC/BE Internist or Family Practitioner to join their team to serve as Medical Director
• Base salary range: 299k-405k
• Physician leader to collaborate in a dyad leadership structure, responsible for monitoring and improving the level of care for patient
• Medical Directors are responsible for participant care, clinical outcomes, and the implementation and oversight of quality assessment, performance improvement, and performance management of ambulatory clinicians.
• Medical directors will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), quality leadership, and other executive management teams to implement strategies that enhance patient care and improve medical practice.
• This role is a blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and operations planning, essential for driving the success of healthcare operations. Serves in both a clinical and leadership capacity, divided a 2.5 days administrative and 2.5 days clinical
• Experience: 5 years’ experience as a postgraduate licensed physician 3 years’ experience in clinical leadership
