Fellowship Trained Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist Needed for Busy IP and OP Service in Beautiful Western NC

• North Carolina health system in western North Carolina is actively seeking a full-time BC fellowship trained child/adolescent psychiatrist (who’s also willing to see adults on IP unit) to join their team
• The medical center is a 258-bed, not for profit, independent hospital…one of only a few left in NC!   
• Hospital Employed 
• Mix of IP (38 bed unit) and OP 
• M-F, 8a-5p 
• One night/week of call and 1:5 weekends 
• Base salary with RVU productivity 
• Commencement bonus and relocation  
• Full benefits including malpractice, dental, health, life, disability, etc.;

• The city has a population of about 45,000, but a service area of over 350,000. 
• It is a safe, family friendly community that offers an abundance of outdoor activities, a variety of shopping and restaurants, a low cost of living, and close proximity to an international airport. 
• They are just 45 minutes NW of Charlotte, an hour east of Asheville, and 4 hours from the coast. 
• The mountains of the high country are also an hour away and offer additional outdoor activities, including snow skiing and tubing.
