Georgia – Internal Medicine – Outpatient Continuity Clinic/Resident Teaching

• A 376-bed hospital in western Georgia is recruiting a board certified Internal Medicine physician to join their Internal Medicine Residency Program, providing patient care and medical education alongside their residents in their new Continuity Clinic.
• Their primary care continuity clinic provides hands-on training to their resident physicians, as well as offering comprehensive primary care services.
• The incoming physician will have a passion for teaching, working with residents, and outpatient medicine.
• The Internal Medicine Residency Program is an ACGME accredited three-year Residency Program (IMRP).
• The program is a community-based 3 year categorical program with a dedication to patient care.
• Hospital-employment
• Outpatient only continuity clinic
• Schedule M-F 8a-5p
• Provide clinical guidance to residents during clinical rotations in the continuity clinic
• The physician will also see patients in the clinic (walk-ins included)
• Supervise APP’s as needed
• No inpatient/hospital responsibilities 
• At least one year post training is preferred but new grads will be considered
• Geriatric fellowship would be a welcome addition
• They can sponsor J1 visa waivers
• $300K Base salary guarantee PLUS wRVU production
• Sign-on bonus, relocation package, student loan repayment assistance and more
• Approximately 100 miles southwest of Atlanta
