Hematology/Oncology Opportunity in Northwest Georgia
- Northwest Georgia Hospital and Cancer Institute are recruiting a Hematologist/Oncologist. The Cancer Institute is the region’s largest cancer facility a newly constructed 46,000 sq. ft., 4-story building that houses the latest technology and a multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate and state-of-the-art cancer treatment under ONE roof.
Qualified candidates:
- Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- Ideal candidates will have an interest in teaching
- Ability to work as a team member

Cancer Institute Overview:
- Monday-Thursday, 8-5 and Friday 8-12
- 1 Full-time medical oncologist, 3 Radiation oncologists, 1 Radiologist, and 4 Nurse practitioners
- 26 infusion bays, 9 clinical exam rooms, and radiation oncology on 1st floor
- Clinical trials affiliation with Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University
- Comprehensive labs with same day turnaround
- EMR: EPIC
- Academic center with opportunities to participate with internal medicine and family medicine residency programs

- Located in Northwest Georgia, 30 minutes south of Chattanooga, Tennessee and 90 minutes north of Atlanta. This is in an ideal location situated at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains and just off of Interstate 75 for ease of travel.
