actively recruiting a Pulmonologist to join our practice in Iowa.

Established and growing practice
Current providers: 1 Physician and 1 Advanced Practitioner

Open to hiring a Physician who wants 100% outpatient clinic or a mix of outpatient and critical care

Experienced staff both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well

Onsite services include: Pulmonary Function Testing, Sleep Studies, Radiology, Labs, Etc.

Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Flexible scheduling which allows a quality Work Life Balance

Responsibilities

Flexible practice models to accommodate new physician’s preferences:

Option 1: 100% outpatient clinic

Option 2: mix of outpatient medicine and critical care

Clinic hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-12pm
Average of 22-25 patients per day

Outpatient call – telephonic only, triaged via My Nurse Call

System: very minimal call volume

Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

MD or DO

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonology/Critical Care

Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa

Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice

Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

J-1 waiver sponsorship available
