Hospitalist Medical Director – Western Montana

• 151-bed community hospital is seeking a Board Certified Internist or Family Practitioner to serve as Medical Director
• Base salary approximately $350,000

• Day rate: $1725
• Night rate: $1925
• Leadership stipend

• Join an established group of 8 physicians and 2 APPs
• Open ICU with Intensivist backup
• Procedures: optional but none required. Basic vent management will be helpful
• No call
• Primarily day shifts with dedicated administrative time
• 7 on/7 off block scheduling – 2 blocks of days, 1 block of nights
• Full time equates to 14.75 shifts per month and 177 shifts per year
• 2 physicians on during the day (7 am to 5 pm) and one physician on at night (5 pm to 7 am)
• Manage a smaller group of clinicians – no scheduling duties
• No previous leadership experience required but must have a minimum of 2 years of hospitalist medicine experience. Associate Director helps with leadership responsibilities
