Massachusetts – Reproductive Endocrinology

My client, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – invites applications for the position of Division Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Practice Highlights –
• Join their team of 4 Reproductive Endocrinologist, 1 APP, nurses and embryologists at the region’s only full-scope REI practice.
• Their division has established itself as an excellent full-service program for treating reproductive endocrinology, reproductive surgery, and infertility disorders in western Massachusetts, including approximately 750 IVF cycles/year, with fertility preservation and donor eggs. Massachusetts has a state mandate for infertility treatment.
• Develop the next generation of physicians by delivering comprehensive REI education to UMASS Chan-Baystate Ob/Gyn residents and medical students. Faculty appointment to the UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate. Clinical research opportunities are available and encouraged.
• The Ob/Gyn department has approximately 4,200 deliveries annually with a high proportion of high-risk pregnancies. Their Children’s Hospital offers the regions only level III NICU. Strong subspecialty support available from Urogynecology, Family Planning, MFM, Adolescent Gyn and Gyn Oncology.

• Guide the clinical and academic mission and the thriving program in assisted reproductive services. Lead their strategic regional growth initiative and maintain high standards for quality and safety.
• Create a positive work environment for the division that encourages communication, trust, team-work and professional growth and ensures that all staff feel valued and supported. Promote optimal use of the electronic medical record.
• Responsible for oversight of safety and quality of the reproductive endocrinology services.
• Participate as part of the senior leadership team in departmental and REI strategy and decisions in partnership with the Practice Manager and Director. Collaborate with the IVF laboratory director to optimize their reproductive laboratory services.
Qualifications: ABMS BC in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Strong commitment to collaboration, communication, quality and lifelong learning is essential.
