Neurointerventional Radiology – South Carolina
- 500+ provider multi-specialty group system that seeks board certified or board eligible neurointerventional radiologists, endovascular neurosurgeon, or an endovascular trained neurologist, to join its growing neuroscience specialty practice.
- The Medical Center is the principal provider of advanced, innovative, and interdisciplinary neurological services, and is the only Regional Level II Trauma Center and DNV Primary Stroke Certified Center with a Neuro and Surgical ICU.
- The program is staffed with board certified and fellowship-trained neurointensivists and critical care specialists and offers the most comprehensive neurological treatment in the area
- As the regional provider of advanced neurological services, the neurointerventional providers have the opportunity to care for patients with complex neurovascular conditions to include comprehensive stroke and other endovascular services, complex spine conditions, spine and brain trauma, a variety of neuro-oncology diagnoses, as well as elective cases.
- The Medical Center promotes collaboration with a team of neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, vascular neurologists, neurologists, and oncologists.
- They have a well-established Neurointerventional Bi-plane X-Ray Suite, used for the emergency treatment of stroke patients, and is equipped with the most advanced medical imaging technologies available and interventional stroke and aneurysm procedures.
- This position has a full-time schedule with traditional work week, plus call and hospital responsibilities that include evenings and weekends.
- Call is shared equally with members of the neurosurgery department.

Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA residency program in one of the following specialties: Neurology, Internal Medicine, Neurosurgery, Anesthesia, or Emergency Medicine
- Successful completion of an accredited Fellowship in Interventional and Diagnostic Neuroradiology or Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology program
