Location: New Mexico

Credentials:
MD/DO with completion of Orthopedic Surgery residency. Must be able to obtain NM license, DEA and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR).

Responsibilities

*This role is for a well-rounded and qualified orthopedic surgeon looking to have nights and weekends off
*This position is an orthopedic hospitalist role in which the physician will provide daytime hospital call coverage for Medical Center – a 198 bed hospital
*Provider must be proficient in fracture care, including the management of periprosthetic fractures
*Ability to perform general orthopedic procedures, total joints and revisions, adult reconstruction, and standard orthopedic trauma.
*Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice
*Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
*Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
