Pennsylvania – Intensivist
Client is seeking a full-time Intensivist for hospital-based adult critical care practice.  It’s your opportunity to live in an affordable city on the water, in a family-friendly community with short commutes to the hospital from many surrounding neighborhoods!
The Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh has recently joined its resources with those of my client. Their vision is to create a world-class regional center of excellence for the care of critically ill patients at their hospital. This association will allow their critical care services to leverage the expertise of more than 50 years of critical care training, research, and care. They aim to facilitate the realization of a system of critical care that provides the highest quality of care while emphasizing a culture of teamwork, patient safety, cutting-edge best practices, family support, and adaptability to a rapidly changing landscape.
• Join a multidisciplinary team, including highly trained Advanced Practice Providers to support the service line.
• Intensivists are expected to coordinate care with sub-specialists and provide supervision for a full staff of highly trained critical care Physician Assistants.
• Full time position with flexible 15 shifts per month (mixed days and nights).
• Coverage to include Trauma, Surgical, Kidney Transplant, Medical, Neuro and Cardiovascular ICU beds
• Candidate should have completed fellowship training and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
• A desire to teach medical students, residents and staff.
