Tennessee - Pediatric Endocrinology – (46046)
expanding to add a third pediatric endocrinologist to an enthusiastic team supported by advanced practitioners, diabetes educators, pediatric endocrine nurses and dietician. Since opening in 2015, the clinic has thrived by investing in the community to provide excellent clinical care, teach the next generation of providers, engage in meaningful research and quality improvement, and advocate for our patients.
Academic duties (0.3 FTE) include teaching ETSU medical students and pediatric residents, pursuing independent and collaborative research interests, with support to participate and present at regional and national conferences as well as patient advocacy.
With minimal commute times, reasonable cost of living, strong schools, beautiful opportunities outdoors, and small-town feel, finding a comfortable work-life balance is not difficult and encouraged. An after-hours nursing triage line and strong diabetes-educator support keep the call-burden reasonable.
