West Central Pennsylvania – General Radiology with partnershp 

Daily work hour is 7:30-4:00 when not on call.M-F Everyone gets one afternoon off when fully staffed.

Daily read is about 100. Everyone reads from the same list of all mixed cases except the call person who covers the stats.

Call is every 5th equally shared. Holidays are rotated yearly. When on call,  start work at 9:00AM and stay till 5 PM at the hospital and cover stats from home till 10PM. We take call M-W, Thursday is half day, then call on F- Sunday.  The next week, will take call on Thursday.

On Friday, everyone who is working will stay until all the cases on the list are read( usually by 4PM).

No recent turnover for past 10 years. Partner who was planning retirement this year passed away early this year. 

Friendly, stable, five member private group seeks General Radiologist to join their growing practice. The Department has an excellent family atmosphere. We perform all aspects of community radiology. Performs 90,000 radiology examinations per year and has on-site 1.5 T MRI, off-site 1.5 T MRI, two multidetector CTs, ultrasound, stereotactic breast biopsy, and nuclear medicine as well as general radiography. This practice has the exclusive imaging contract with Medical Center. Financial package consists of equally distributed quarterly bonus, partnership track of 1 year with no buy-in, health insurance for physician and family (medical, dental and vision), malpractice insurance paid by the group, 10 weeks CME/vacation, 401k after 1 year, fully funded pension plan after 1 year with group
