A rural academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a well-trained BC/BE outpatient Addiction Medicine Physician.  The demand for treatment of patients with opioid use disorder, alcohol and other addictions is growing. 


The ideal candidate will provide clinical supervision and support to our full-time and part-time providers delivering care throughout the Healthcare Network.   This focus of this position is to provide prevention, screening, intervention and treatment related to substance use disorders and addictions. You will consult with our counselors and the providers to develop and establish treatment plans for our patients.


The Psychiatry Department has outpatient, inpatient and emergency room facilities.  Practice opportunities can be tailored to individual preference.  Teaching of medical residents Students is a highlight of our opportunity.
