Missouri - Neurosurgery

Neurosurgery Opportunity:

Large Health System in St. Louis, MO is actively seeking a neurosurgeon to join our growing 21 member Neurosciences team which consists of 13 neurologists and 8 neurosurgeons. Our Physician Organization has over 300 employed physicians including a large primary care base which results in a strong referral network. Our dynamic team of colleagues offers a phenomenal practice environment for the incoming physician. The neurosurgeon will provide both operative and non-operative management (i.e.; prevention, diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, critical care, and rehabilitation) of disorders of the central, peripheral, and autonomic nervous systems, including their supporting structures and vascular supply; the evaluation and treatment of pathological processes which modify function or activity of the nervous system; and the operative and non-operative management of pain. A neurosurgeon treats patients with disorders of the nervous system; disorders of the brain, meninges, skull, and their blood supply, including the etracranial carotid and vertebral arteries; disorders of the pituitary gland; disorders of the spinal cord, meninges, and verebral column, including those which may require treatment by spinal fusion or instrumentation; and disorders of the cranial and spinal nerves throughout their distribution.

Qualifications Required:

*M.D. or D.O.
*Completion of a AOA or ACGME Neurosurgery Residency Program
* Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery

Ability to exercise confidentiality of patient information, informed consent, business practices, demonstration of respect and regard for the needs of the patient.
